Piedra Verdejo 2024
A vibrant Mediterranean white, fresh and terroir-driven
Vineyard philosophy
Piedra Verdejo 2024 is made from organically grown grapes in the sandy, stony soils of Toro. The vines thrive under the sun and breeze, with sustainable vineyard practices aimed at preserving biodiversity and balance in the fruit.
Winemaking approach
The grapes are harvested at night to retain their freshness and softly pressed. Fermentation is spontaneous and carried out in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. No harsh clarification or filtration, allowing the true character of Verdejo to shine.
Colour: bright straw yellow with greenish highlights.
Nose: intense aromas of white flowers, tropical fruit, and a subtle herbal touch.
Palate: crisp, mineral and refreshing, with a citrusy finish and a pleasant almond hint.

Bodegas Piedra
Tradition, authenticity, and sustainability in the heart of DO Toro
Established in 1968 in the Guareña Valley, Bodegas Piedra is a key reference in the Denominación de Origen Toro. The winery focuses on preserving and showcasing the native Tinta de Toro grape, grown in one of the region’s most historic vineyards: Bocarrage, planted in 1967 with ungrafted vines. With its diverse soils and continental climate, the vineyard produces grapes of great character and identity, cultivated under certified organic practices.
In the cellar, Piedra follows a minimal intervention philosophy: spontaneous fermentations, native yeasts, no filtration or fining, and minimal use of sulfur. The result is a range of wines that are genuine, bold yet refined, and true reflections of their terroir.
