Applicable Law
All sales are governed by Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), as amended, including the provisions on the right of withdrawal and legal conformity guarantees.
1. Purchase Requirements
Sale of alcohol to minors is prohibited.
Users declare they are at least 18 years old (or 21, if required by local legislation).
2. Prices and Taxes
All prices include VAT.
Taxes, customs duties, and local charges, if applicable in the destination country, are the responsibility of the customer.
Prices and vintages are subject to change without notice. Changes will not affect already confirmed orders. If the ordered vintage is unavailable, the next available vintage will be shipped.
3. Shipping
All shipments are accompanied by a regular invoice.
Shipping conditions, including free shipping, are available on the page: [Shipping Policy].
Wineries listed under “Ready for Delivery” do not incur additional shipping costs. Bottles in selections are exempt from shipping fees only if purchased along with others from the same selection.
If the order includes multiple selections, shipments may be made separately and at different times.
For complex orders, Apewineboxes reserves the right to apply additional charges, which are detailed on the relevant page.
4. Transport and Liability
Goods are shipped via uninsured courier up to €299.
For orders above this amount, shipments are automatically insured.
The customer must check the contents upon delivery and note any reservations on the delivery slip. Photos of the packaging and damaged bottles are required for any claim.
5. Legendary Wines
These come from private collections (Rome, Tuscany, Apulia), accessed weekly.
Shipments are typically made on Mondays, but may take up to 20 days for rare or delicate labels.

In case of payment via Stripe, PayPal, or credit card and product unavailability, Apewineboxes will refund the amount net of transaction fees (e.g., 3.5%).
If requesting an invoice with VAT deduction for legendary wines, an additional 12% surcharge on the Apewineboxes.com price will apply (e.g., for a €1000 product, the total will be €1120). If this surcharge is not paid and a refund is requested, the refund will be net of the non-refundable transaction fee.
6. Legal Guarantees
Valid for 2 years from delivery (Art. 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code).
Defects must be reported within 2 months of discovery.
7. Right of Withdrawal
The customer may withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise specified.
A standard withdrawal form is available upon request or on the website.
8. Chargeback and Anti-Fraud Policy
All transactions may be subject to anti-fraud checks.
The customer agrees that goods are considered accepted upon signature at delivery.
Unjustified chargebacks will be treated as fraud and may lead to legal action.
The customer expressly waives the right to request a chargeback in the case of conforming delivery.

Apewineboxes is not responsible for external content linked via the site.
No liability is accepted for typographical or translation errors.
10. Defective or Damaged Goods
May be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the goods are damaged or defective.
Photographic documentation of the damage and packaging is required.
If the replacement product is out of stock, a full refund will be issued.
11. Non-Conforming Wine
Includes issues such as cork taint, liquid leakage, severely damaged labels.
Must be reported within 30 days of discovery and within 24 months of purchase, by writing to [email protected]
For goods valued over €50, return pickup is free.
The wine must be returned with at least 3/4 of the content and the original cork.
Original packaging is required for return.
If non-conformity is confirmed, the product will be replaced or refunded.
12. Promotions
Promotions apply only to items not already on sale.
13. Horeca Customers
Orders under €350: €49 + VAT for shipping.
Unpaid bank receipt: €7 charge.
Advance (offline) payment: 4% cash discount.
R.D. or R.B. payment method: 60-day end-of-month terms.
Alcohol, excise duties, and official seals included as per applicable law.
Extra services (e.g., cellar delivery, fixed delivery times) charged according to courier rates.
Goods travel at the seller’s risk, but the customer must inspect packages upon delivery.
