A wine born from the hands of memory. Gagio represents a project of sustainability, tradition, and human connection. Thanks to 14 local elders and the recovery of old vineyards in Fucecchio, this honest and expressive Tuscan white wine comes to life.
Made from 98% Trebbiano and 2% Malvasia, the grapes come from organically cultivated plots with various exposures. Grown at 150 meters above sea level on clay-influenced soils, the vines yield healthy fruit with natural intensity and balance.
The winemaking process takes place in anaerobiosis, with cold pressing and four months of lees aging. Stainless steel is used for maturation, preserving freshness, clarity, and varietal expression.
On the nose, it offers peach, pineapple, honey, and spring flowers. The palate is smooth and harmonious with a long, persistent finish. Gagio is a genuine, fragrant white wine that expresses its origin with humility and charm.
A peasant rebirth in the heart of Fucecchio
It was in 2005 that Giulio and Lapo decided to revive several abandoned vineyards in the Fucecchio area, in the heart of Tuscany. Many of these plots had been left behind by elderly farmers, due to age and the low profitability of viticulture. With the help of 14 local elders, they were able to rescue native grape varieties and bring dignity back to forgotten land. This is how Dalle Nostre Mani was born—a project rooted in the agricultural memory of the territory and interpreted with courage and authenticity.
Farming with respect for the soil’s memory
The vineyard philosophy is based on a deeply organic approach, aimed at restoring a natural balance between the vines and their surroundings. All work is done manually, guided by lunar cycles and with no synthetic chemicals. Traditional farming methods are embraced: each vine is observed, understood, and gently assisted. Biodiversity is preserved, the land is respected, and interventions are minimal and never invasive. Farming becomes a practice of wisdom, patience, and attentiveness.
Wine that is alive, honest, and natural
In the cellar, the same principles guide every process. Fermentations occur naturally using native yeasts, and the wines are neither fined nor filtered. Human intervention is kept to a minimum to preserve the grapes’ natural expression. No chemical adjustments, no standardization—each vintage tells a different story, each bottle captures a unique moment. Wine is treated as a living organism, carefully guided but never forced.
Craftsmanship and tradition in every bottle
The style of Dalle Nostre Mani is unmistakably artisanal, local, and authentic. Each bottle is a piece of collective memory, the result of slow and thoughtful winemaking. Giulio and Lapo believe wine should express not just terroir, but also the people and gestures behind it. This is why each cuvée embodies the soul of Tuscan vineyards and brings to life the taste of a resilient, rural Tuscany.
