Bourgogne Pinot Noir “Les Brûlis” 2022
A Pure and Elegant Burgundy Pinot Noir
The Bourgogne Pinot Noir “Les Brûlis” 2022 is a bright and precise expression of Burgundy’s iconic grape. From selected plots south of Chablis, it delivers a fresh, graceful red with true varietal character and gentle oak influence.
Vineyard Philosophy
Sourced from sustainably farmed vineyards on limestone soils, the grapes benefit from low yields and excellent exposure. The goal is to preserve the Pinot Noir’s natural vibrancy and purity.
Winemaking Approach
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts, followed by 9 months in second-use oak barrels, allowing the wine to develop structure and complexity while preserving its finesse.
Tasting Notes
Bright ruby red with purple hues.
Aromas of wild strawberries, violet, and subtle sweet spices.
On the palate, it’s silky and juicy with fine tannins and a fresh, savory finish.
Food Pairings
Ideal with roast poultry, duck in fruit sauce, sautéed mushrooms, or soft cheeses. Also great slightly chilled with grilled vegetables or tuna dishes.

Domaine des Marronniers: Tradition and Precision in the Heart of Chablis
A Story Rooted in Burgundy
Domaine des Marronniers is a family-run estate located in Préhy, at the heart of the Chablis region in Burgundy. With generations of winemaking heritage, the Malandain family combines tradition with a deep respect for the land. The estate spans about 20 hectares, planted on classic Kimmeridgian soils rich in marine fossils, lending a unique minerality and longevity to the wines. Each vineyard parcel is tended with artisanal care to express the essence of its terroir.
Vineyard Philosophy
Viticulture here is sustainable and reasoned, focused on protecting biodiversity and soil health. Synthetic chemicals are avoided, with each intervention carefully chosen to promote vine vitality and balance. Controlled grass cover, selective pruning, and manual thinning ensure healthy, concentrated grapes. Marronniers values authenticity over volume, seeking fruit that reflects its natural environment.
Approach in the Cellar
Winemaking at Domaine des Marronniers follows a clean and minimal intervention philosophy. Stainless steel tanks are used for fermentation to preserve the freshness and precision of the Chardonnay grape. Sulfites are used sparingly, and bâtonnage, when applied, is gentle and measured. Ageing occurs on fine lees, in steel or occasionally in neutral oak depending on the cuvée, delivering wines that are bright, expressive, and true to origin.
The Wines: Pure, Mineral-Driven Chablis
The domaine crafts various expressions of Chablis and Petit Chablis, with a focus on clarity and terroir. Highlights include the Chablis Vieilles Vignes, from vines over 45 years old, and several Premier Cru parcels such as Montmains and Vaucoupin, offering layered complexity and precision. These wines stand out for their saline, fresh, and linear profile, with elegant evolution in bottle. They are classic, unpretentious examples of true Chablis.
