Super Remo 2023
A skin-contact white that interprets Tuscia
Super Remo 2023 is the new name of the former “Est/Remo,” one of the historic labels of Regina del Quartuccio, a young winery in Tuscia (Viterbo). It is made from a blend of Trebbiano Toscano, Rossetto and Malvasia, sourced from old 60-year-old vineyards located at 300 meters above sea level. Designed as a skin-contact white with a strong personality, it bridges tradition and a contemporary approach.
Vineyard philosophy
The grapes are cultivated using sustainable and manual methods, without synthetic products. The volcanic soils and the cool microclimate of the Viterbo hills allow slow ripening, preserving acidity and aromatic integrity. Manual harvesting ensures that only the best bunches are selected, guaranteeing top-quality raw material for a vinification focused on natural expression.
Winery approach
The vinification follows a low-intervention style: the must ferments spontaneously on the skins for about 3 days in cement tanks, extracting color, tannin and complex aromas. The wine is then aged for 6 months in fiberglass tanks, a neutral container that preserves freshness and precision. No invasive filtration is carried out, maintaining the wine’s original richness and personality.
Tasting notes
Color: Deep golden yellow with orange hues.
Nose: Aromas of ripe yellow fruit, citrus zest, balsamic herbs and wildflowers.
Palate: Structured, fresh and mineral, with light yet noticeable tannins and a long, savory finish.
Ideal pairings
Super Remo 2023 is a versatile white that pairs beautifully with flavorful dishes: spiced white meats, legume soups, grilled vegetables, semi-aged cheeses and mildly spiced ethnic cuisine. Best served at 12–14 °C to fully highlight its character.

Regina del Quartuccio – Natural Winery of Tuscia
A young winery with deep roots
The Regina del Quartuccio winery was founded in 2020 by Remo Bartolomei, a young winemaker who grew up among the vineyards of Tuscia, in the Viterbo area. The project was born in the land of his origins and is deeply connected to his family history: as a child, Remo experienced harvest time as a moment of collective celebration, a ritual that brought together relatives and friends around homemade wine. This spirit of sharing and authenticity is now the beating heart of the winery, which produces wines that tell the true essence of the territory.
The name and the production philosophy
The name Regina del Quartuccio is not only a reference to the area of origin but also a tribute to Remo’s mother, who was affectionately known by this nickname in the family. The encouragement of friends from Il Vinco was crucial to starting the official production. From the beginning, the production philosophy has been clear: natural, genuine wines with a strong identity, made from grapes cultivated without compromise and vinified with minimal intervention.
Vineyards and low-intervention winemaking
The grapes come from vineyards of native varieties planted on volcanic soils, a distinctive characteristic of the Tuscia area. This unique soil gives the wines minerality, tension, and aromatic complexity. In the cellar, fermentations are spontaneous with indigenous yeasts, no additives are used, and the wines follow a natural evolution without forced techniques or aggressive filtrations. The goal is to listen to the grapes and the territory, guiding them without altering their identity.
Wines as expressions of the territory
The first wines released by the winery perfectly represent this philosophy. “Est/Remo”, a white wine that reinterprets Lazio’s traditional blends in a personal way, is fresh, territorial, and versatile. “Mannajacane”, a direct and vibrant red, carries the Calabrian roots of Remo’s father in its name and style. Each new label is conceived to be authentic and artisanal, capable of conveying emotions and telling the story of Tuscia and its people. Regina del Quartuccio is not just a winery but a small world where memory, passion, and respect for the land intertwine.
