From the historic 0.6750-hectare parcel between Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, it is produced in extremely limited quantities and released only by allocation.
A warm and generous year, 2015 delivered structure, concentration, and beautifully integrated minerality.

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti: a symbol of winemaking excellence in Burgundy
The Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC) represents the pure essence of Burgundy, a true legend born from the combination of terroir, passion, and time. Located in the heart of the renowned Côte de Nuits, in Vosne-Romanée, DRC is not just a wine producer: it is a global icon, synonymous with oenological perfection and centuries-old tradition.
The Romanée-Conti vineyard, famous since the 18th century and contested by nobles and cardinals, continues to shine today thanks to the shared management of the de Villaine and Leroy families, who diligently safeguard its heritage. The Domaine’s vineyards are all Grand Cru, located in historic parcels such as La Tâche, Richebourg, Romanée-St-Vivant, and Montrachet. Production is extremely limited, making each bottle a masterpiece of purity and coherence with the terroir.
Biodynamic farming: deep respect for the terroir
At Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, cultivation is not a trend but a way of life. Certified biodynamic for many years, the Domaine practices agriculture based on the utmost respect for the soil, climate, and the vines themselves.
Work is entirely manual, from pruning to harvest, with meticulous attention to each individual plant, considered a unique organism. There is no irrigation or use of synthetic chemicals, and yields are among the lowest in Burgundy. This set of practices produces grapes with extraordinary concentration, ready to express the complexity of the territory in the bottle.
The key concept is time: time to listen to nature, observe the vine, and wait for perfect ripeness. Only in this way are wines born that can last and tell stories for decades.
Winemaking: rigor and tradition in the service of the wine
In the cellar, rigor is almost monastic. The grape selection is carried out bunch by bunch, with obsessive care. Fermentation takes place in oak vats with indigenous yeasts, often using whole clusters, without any artificial intervention in the natural process.
The must follows its own rhythm, free from mechanical controls, while aging takes place in 100% new barriques for about 18 months, always aiming to preserve the authentic identity of the wine.
Bottling is done without filtration, at the end of a slow and silent evolution that gives the wine a timeless character, free from trends or compromises. The result is a unique sensory experience, vibrant and ethereal.
The prestige of a unique terroir: the Grand Cru vineyards
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti cultivates exclusively Grand Cru vineyards, located in Burgundy’s noblest parcels. Among these stand out historic names such as La Tâche, Richebourg, Romanée-St-Vivant, and Montrachet, each with unique characteristics reflecting the incredible variety of microclimates and soils in the region.
These soils, combined with biodynamic management and traditional winemaking, allow the production of wines that are true masterpieces of the world of oenology.
Limited production and rarity: a wine for a select few
The Domaine’s production is extremely limited: only a few thousand bottles per year for each cru. This makes DRC wines not only a symbol of quality but also an object of cult and rarity, highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.
The combination of history, terroir, natural methods, and rigorous selection makes each bottle an unparalleled investment and experience.
A timeless excellence
The Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is much more than a wine producer; it is an emblem of global winemaking perfection. Its history, obsessive care for the terroir, and biodynamic philosophy create wines capable of exciting and lasting over time.
Each bottle tells a story of passion, tradition, and extreme attention to detail, offering a unique and unrepeatable oenological experience.
