Giallo Pesce Palla 2023
An orange wine born to experiment
Giallo Pesce Palla 2023 is one of the most original projects of Tenuta l’Armonia’s LAB line. It is made from Catarratto grapes sourced from Az. Agr. Vinci Giuseppa in Marsala, Sicily, from 25-year-old vines grown on mineral-rich and breezy soils. This wine was created to prove that the winemaker’s choices are as decisive as the grape variety and the terroir, with every production step designed to enhance the raw material.
Vineyard philosophy
The Catarratto vines are farmed sustainably with great attention to grape ripening. The manual harvest selects only the healthiest and most concentrated grapes, essential for the extended macerations that define this wine. Marsala’s Mediterranean climate and mineral soils contribute natural tension and salinity to the final result.
Winery approach
Giallo Pesce Palla undergoes a unique vinification: the grapes are subjected to three different skin macerations. The first, lasting 3 days, enhances the fruit; the second, lasting 3 weeks, builds the tannic structure; and the third, 6 months in amphora, provides structure and extraordinary persistence. This rigorous yet respectful process allows the wine to achieve complexity and stability without filtration or fining.
Tasting notes
Color: Deep golden yellow with amber reflections.
Nose: Aromas of orange zest, dried fruit, aromatic herbs and balsamic hints.
Palate: Broad, tannic yet balanced, with great sapidity and a very long, mineral finish.
Ideal pairings
Giallo Pesce Palla 2023 is perfect with Mediterranean cuisine, flavorful fish, spiced white meats and aged cheeses. Serve at 14–16 °C, allowing time for aeration. A wine for curious palates, inviting slow enjoyment.

Tenuta l’Armonia – History
The story of Tenuta l’Armonia began in 2010 on the volcanic hills of Vicenza, in Contrà Scaranto. Founded by Andrea Pedrin, a self-taught “Wine Chef” trained between France and Italy, the winery was born from the desire to unite agriculture, culture, and creativity. From the start, Andrea focused on native grape varieties grown on volcanic soils, aiming to express each terroir through unique blends and cuvées. A young and dynamic team supports him, helping shape an evolving approach that combines local tradition and innovation.
Vineyard Philosophy
Tenuta l’Armonia practices organic and regenerative agriculture, completely free of synthetic chemicals. Some vines are up to 35–40 years old and grow on three distinct types of volcanic soil. Native grape varieties are at the core of the project, enhancing the authenticity of each wine. In the vineyard, all interventions respect natural rhythms and promote harmony between soil and plant. This sustainable vision ensures the long-term health of the vines and the expressive character of the wines.
Winemaking Approach
In the cellar, Tenuta l’Armonia follows a fully artisanal and natural approach. No selected yeasts, fining agents, or stabilizers are used. Sulfites are kept to a minimum and only added when absolutely necessary. The winemaking process is designed to preserve energy, freshness, and balance. The winery experiments with different vessels—amphorae, large barrels, concrete tanks, and wood—to achieve expressive, site-driven wines. Each vintage is handled differently to reflect the uniqueness of the season and the vineyard.
Vision & Territory
The volcanic soils of Montecchio Maggiore offer rare geological features that profoundly shape the vines and the wines. Tenuta l’Armonia seeks to express this uniqueness by working closely with native grapes and allowing the territory to speak for itself. Andrea has also developed an integrated agricultural project, which includes 10 hectares of olive groves and vegetable gardens. The estate regularly hosts workshops that connect gastronomy, wine, and artisanal farming. Living “in harmony” here means creating social, cultural, and environmental value through wine.
