CHENIN Le Droit CHINON BIO 2023
Pure Chenin from biodynamic Chinon terroir
Béatrice and Pascal Lambert showcase the vibrant side of 100% Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley. With decades of biodynamic viticulture, they farm their vineyards in full respect of nature, following lunar cycles and avoiding all synthetic inputs. The result is a white wine that’s fresh, transparent and honest, a true reflection of its origin.
Native yeasts, manual harvest, and steel aging
Harvested manually at optimal ripeness, the grapes are pressed with pneumatic technology and fermented with native yeasts. Aging takes place for 5–6 months in stainless steel tanks, allowing the wine to preserve its freshness and aromatic precision without oak influence.
Lively citrus and mineral balance
Bright straw yellow, on the nose it offers zesty lemon, white flowers, and hints of citrus peel. The palate is crisp, linear and refreshing, with a salty mineral finish, delivering a clean and balanced experience.

Lambert Estate – A biodynamic vision rooted in time
For nearly two decades, Lambert has embraced organic agriculture, and since 2005 the vineyards have been managed using biodynamic principles, aiming for a balanced relationship between soil, plants and their environment. This approach is not a trend but a conscious choice grounded in observation and respect for natural rhythms. Through harmonious practices, Lambert seeks to cultivate rich and expressive grapes that reflect the vitality of the terroir.
In the vineyard: lunar rhythm and herbal preparations
At Lambert, vineyard work is entirely chemical‑free, relying exclusively on compost and herbal biodynamic preparations. Major operations—from pruning to treatments—are guided by the lunar calendar, in tune with cosmic and earthly cycles. This intimate connection ensures that vines produce healthy grapes brimming with aromatic potential, while biodiversity is enhanced through the encouragement of beneficial insects and soil microorganisms, ensuring a robust and resilient vineyard ecosystem.
In the cellar: minimal intervention and lunar timing
Winemaking at Lambert follows the same philosophy as the vineyard: minimal intervention, patience and fidelity to natural rhythms. Vinifications often rely on spontaneous fermentation, and cellars operate according to the lunar cycle, just like the vines outside. Each cuvée is shaped gently and allowed to evolve without force. Lambert wines are certified Ecocert and Biodyvin, testifying to their transparent commitment to sustainable, living agriculture. In every bottle you taste the honest expression of nature, time and human care.
