Vermuth 17 e 17 – Heretical tradition and botanical instinct
A craft vermouth from the Marche region for those who reject conventions
Vermuth 17 e 17 is an artisanal vermouth born in the Marche region of central Italy, shaped by the radical and instinctive philosophy of Vini Clandestini. This is not a classic vermouth nor a commercial replica: it’s a bold and dry aromatized wine that seeks structure, depth, and expression without compromise.
The base wine comes from macerated native white grapes, farmed without chemicals and fermented spontaneously with skin contact. The wine is then infused with a mix of botanicals, including wormwood, gentian root, citrus peel, pepper, thyme, lavender, and other herbs, macerated in pure neutral alcohol. The result is blended with minimal sugar, resulting in a vermouth that is dry, elegant, and complex.
On the nose, it offers a medley of balsamic, floral, and citrusy notes. On the palate, it’s intense, fresh, with light tannins and a persistent bitter-saline finish. Ideal to drink straight at cellar temperature or as the base for dry cocktails like Negroni or Martini. 17 e 17 doesn’t follow vermouth rules—it rewrites them.

Vini Clandestini – Nature, anarchy and truth in the heart of the Marche
A radical agricultural project between Offida and the Apennines
In the heart of the Marche region, among the hills surrounding Offida, lies Vini Clandestini, a small farming and winemaking venture driven by a radical and deeply personal vision of wine. Far from any oenological formalities, this winery follows nature as its only guide, choosing to work outside official appellations and free from market conventions or so-called technical correctness. The name itself, “Vini Clandestini”, reflects a rebellious, independent soul that puts spontaneity and terroir sincerity at its core.
A living, uncompromising agriculture
Everything starts in the vineyard, where vines grow on calcareous and clay soils, exposed to gentle Marche slopes and Adriatic breezes. No herbicides, chemical treatments or invasive interventions are used. Manual farming and attentive observation guide the seasonal work. Indigenous varieties like Passerina, Pecorino, Trebbiano, Malvasia, and Sangiovese are the foundation of their wines, crafted either in single-variety expressions or blends, depending on the vintage and the moment’s intuition. Biodiversity plays a crucial role, with medicinal herbs grown among the vines, later used in the production of their unique vermouths.
In the cellar, spontaneous fermentations and no tricks
Winemaking follows the same philosophy: spontaneous fermentations without selected yeasts, enzymes or clarifying agents. Wines evolve naturally, aged slowly in steel or fiberglass on fine lees. No filtration is applied, and sulfites are absent or minimal. Each label reflects the vintage and the creative instinct of the winemaker. The cellar is a place of listening rather than manipulation—the wine is not “made”; it is allowed to express itself.
Wines, vermouths, and free-form experiments
Vini Clandestini offers a range of wines: structured skin-contact whites, lively reds, and intensely aromatic vermouths crafted with hand-harvested herbs and no oenological interference. Each bottle is a manifesto, a call to forget conventions and to experience wine in its raw, artisanal essence.
A poetic and direct language of rebellion and truth
Vini Clandestini is more than a label—it’s a voice. A voice that speaks of land, independence and clarity. It refuses to conform or soften, staying true to itself. Every bottle, every sip, tells this story of raw authenticity and living nature.
