Shesh i Bardhe is an Albanian white wine that celebrates the authenticity of the local terroir. It is made from Shesh i Bardhe grapes, an indigenous grape variety, and is characterized by a unique aroma profile marked by fruity, floral, and mineral notes. Natural vinification and bottle aging preserve the wine’s freshness and complexity, making it an excellent expression of Albania’s winemaking heritage. Perfect for enjoying on its own or paired with fish dishes and fresh cheeses, this wine offers an authentic and satisfying taste experience.
Orange, from the vineyard to the amphora. This Albanian wine is made from Shesh i Bardhe grapes and undergoes traditional fermentation in steel tanks, in contact with the skins, to extract aromas and tannins. It is then aged for 16 months in terracotta amphorae, giving it mineral notes and a complex structure. This long process, combining tradition and innovation, produces a unique wine that is an expression of the Albanian terroir.
Laguna, This wine is made from a blend of three indigenous Albanian grape varieties (Shesh i Bardhe, Pules, and Debine i bardhe) grown near the Narta lagoon and the salt pans of Valona. The wine is made naturally with spontaneous fermentation and maceration on the skins in steel tanks. After 6 months of aging in cement tanks and bottling without filtration, this wine expresses the authenticity of the Albanian terroir.
Plaku, a name that evokes tradition, is an Albanian red wine that pays tribute to the ancient winemaking techniques of the Vlora region. Plaku is the result of the union of two indigenous grape varieties, Shesh i zi and Vlosh, and is a balanced and complex cuvée. It is produced using natural methods, fermented spontaneously in steel tanks and aged in chestnut barrels, giving it spicy notes and a soft tannin structure. A wine that tells the story of a region and the passion of its producers.
Sason comes from vineyards overlooking the island of Saseno, an island that has shaped the history of the Mediterranean. This wine is a true treasure of Albania. The grapes, a skillful blend of Kallmet, Shesh i zi, and Vlosh, grow in a unique terroir influenced by the sea breeze and the minerality of the soil. The winemaking process pays homage to tradition. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, maceration on the skins, and aging in steel: each stage is designed to highlight the authenticity of the fruit and the minerality of the terroir. The result is a wine with a complex and enveloping aromatic profile, with notes of red fruits, spices, and a spicy and mineral finish. A sip of this wine is a sensory journey to discover a fascinating territory and a millennia-old culture.

SEB: A Journey into the Heart of Wine-growing Albania
In the rolling hills of Vlora, in the south of Albania, an ambitious project is revolutionizing the world of wine. SEB, an acronym that hides a meaning yet to be revealed, is much more than a simple winery: it is a return to the origins, a celebration of the land and a tribute to the native vines.
Born in 2018 from the passion of a group of oenophiles, SEB aims to produce wines that tell the story of a unique territory. The vineyards, cultivated with traditional and environmentally friendly methods, extend across alluvial soils, rich in pebbles and sand, which give the wines a unique minerality and complexity.
The choice to focus on native vines is a declaration of intent. Vines that have characterized the Albanian landscape for centuries, but which risked disappearing due to industrialization and standardization. SEB, by recovering and enhancing these ancient varieties, contributes to preserving an invaluable genetic heritage.
The cellar, created inside a tunnel dug in the 1920s, offers a fresh and constant environment, ideal for winemaking. Here, the wines ferment spontaneously, without the addition of selected yeasts, and refine in large wooden barrels, acquiring roundness and complexity.
But SEB is not just wine. It is also a project to enhance the territory, an invitation to discover an authentic Albania full of surprises. The tastings organized in the cellar, among the vineyards and overlooking the sea, are an unforgettable experience for wine enthusiasts.
In conclusion, SEB represents a winning bet on a territory that is still little explored from an oenological point of view. A project that combines tradition and innovation, passion and respect for nature. Savoring a SEB wine means embarking on a sensorial journey to discover an authentic and surprising Albania.
