Rosso 2022 – Natural Red Wine from the Langhe
Rosso 2022: Authenticity and Freshness from Piedmont
Rosso 2022 is born in the heart of the Langhe, one of the most prestigious wine regions in Piedmont, from vineyards managed with organic and natural practices. This wine combines three great local varieties – Dolcetto, Barbera, and Nebbiolo – to offer a balanced, fresh, and elegant profile, capable of conveying tradition with a contemporary touch.
A Blend of Historic Varieties
The combination of Dolcetto, Barbera, and Nebbiolo highlights the richness and diversity of the territory. Dolcetto brings fruity freshness, Barbera provides acidity and vibrancy, while Nebbiolo adds structure and complexity. The result is a red wine with excellent drinkability and a distinctive personality.
Natural Winemaking and Respect for Terroir
Manual harvest and steel fermentation, with 15 days of maceration on the skins (whole cluster for Nebbiolo), allow the fruit’s authenticity to remain intact. The 24-month aging in steel preserves freshness and immediacy, giving a sincere and genuine expression of the territory in every glass.
Elegance Without Artifice
Rosso 2022 undergoes no clarifications or invasive filtrations, with only a minimal addition of sulfites at bottling. This essential approach allows the wine to express itself transparently, delivering a clean, dynamic, and well-balanced sip.
A Wine for Every Occasion
Thanks to its versatility, Rosso 2022 pairs perfectly with traditional Piedmontese dishes, such as fresh pasta and cured meats, or can be enjoyed in moments of conviviality. A natural red wine that combines simplicity and elegance, ideal for lovers of authentic, terroir-driven wines.

Cascina Ebreo – Great Wines of the Langhe
Introduction
Cascina Ebreo is not just a winery: it is an idea, a free spirit, and an anarchic approach to winemaking. Located in the heart of the Langhe, in Novello, the estate produces wines recognizable for their unique personality, born from passion, experimentation, and absolute respect for the land. Every bottle tells a story of freedom, natural perfection, and harmony with the terroir.
Founded by Swiss Peter Weimer, a former computer programmer and passionate lover of the Langhe, Cascina Ebreo was born from the desire to create wines that faithfully reflect the land, without compromise on conventional techniques. In 1992, Peter purchased 3 hectares of vineyards to restore and an old farmhouse known since the 1800s as Cascina Ebreo. After initial experiments with traditional methods, Peter realized that the wines did not express his vision: they were too constrained by standard rules and enological interventions. He then decided to follow his personal philosophy: let the terroir speak for itself in the glass.
Land and Viticulture
The Novello terroir is unique: the famous “Marne di Sant’Agata laminate” with silt and clay, combined with breezes from the Maritime Alps, give the wines minerality, freshness, and complexity. Here, nature sets the rules.
Cascina Ebreo’s production philosophy is radical and experimental: no chemicals, only indigenous yeasts, no added sulfur. The vineyard and soil are studied and respected, and every harvest is an opportunity to listen to and interpret the land’s language.
Since 2015, the winery has been managed by a group of young winemakers who met Peter and decided to continue his project. These innovators embraced the philosophy of freedom, experimentation, and respect for the terroir, transforming Cascina Ebreo into a creative laboratory where every wine is born without regulatory constraints, but with passion, authenticity, and meticulous care.
Grapes and Production
Cascina Ebreo’s vineyards are located in the heart of MGA Ravera, a hill known for producing some of the most elegant and long-lived wines in the area. Here, Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto coexist with aromatic varieties like Sauvignon Blanc and Malvasia Moscata Piemontese, offering a complete range of territorial expressions.
The combination of vine age, careful vineyard management, and natural winemaking produces wines that tell the story of the Langhe, its complexity, and authenticity. Each Cascina Ebreo wine is a unique sensory experience: from the freshness and minerality of the whites to the structure and longevity of the reds, every sip is a dialogue between the land and the taster.
Philosophy and Creative Approach
Attention to detail, absence of chemical interventions, and exclusive use of indigenous yeasts make each bottle unique, able to move both enthusiasts and connoisseurs. Cascina Ebreo demonstrates how creative freedom and respect for the land can come together to produce unconventional yet extraordinary wines.
