Renudo 2023 – Sangiovese – Tomassetti Winery
Overview
Renudo 2023 is a pure Sangiovese red wine from the Marche region, classified as Sangiovese Marche IGT. The grapes come from a one-hectare vineyard, 45 years old, planted on calcareous and clay soils that provide structure, depth, and minerality. Managed with organic and biodynamic practices, and vinified naturally, this wine delivers elegance, harmony, and authenticity. Contains sulfites.
Wine history
The Renudo project was born from the desire of brothers Andrea and Matteo Tomassetti to showcase Marche Sangiovese, a native variety capable of expressing the terroir. The 2023 harvest was hand-picked, selecting only the best clusters. Renudo embodies rural tradition and artisanal vision, bringing a red wine to the bottle that tells the story of the land and the Tomassetti family’s expertise.
Vineyard philosophy
Grapes come from a one-hectare vineyard, 45 years old, planted on calcareous and clay soils with optimal sun exposure. Biodynamic and natural management preserves vineyard balance, promotes biodiversity, and prevents diseases without chemicals. Manual harvesting ensures only healthy and ripe grapes are used, producing an intense, fresh, and terroir-driven red wine.
Winemaking approach
Renudo 2023 is vinified with minimal intervention. Twenty days of carbonic maceration followed by spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts enhance freshness, fruit, and structure. Aging on fine lees for 7 months adds complexity and roundness without losing varietal elegance. Clarification is natural, filtration is minimal (>3 microns), and SO₂ is added sparingly (<15 mg/L) at bottling. Contains sulfites.

Tomassetti – Winery in Le Marche
Winery history
The story of the Tomassetti Winery is rooted in a family agricultural tradition with a deep connection to the land and the province of Ancona. Originally dedicated to producing high-quality extra virgin olive oil, the estate has long been a reference point in the Marche region. In 2015, brothers Andrea and Matteo Tomassetti, after following different training paths, decided to breathe new life into the family business, transforming it into a project that combines roots and innovation. Their choice was to continue their agricultural journey with an artisanal and sustainable vision, avoiding the use of chemicals.
Vineyard philosophy
Work in the vineyards follows a biological and environmentally respectful philosophy, aiming to maintain soil fertility and plant vitality without forcing. The Tomassetti brothers manage old vineyards of Trebbiano, Verdicchio, and Sangiovese, native varieties that strongly represent the Marche winemaking heritage. By intervening as little as possible and respecting the natural rhythms of the vine, they obtain healthy, balanced grapes capable of fully expressing the character of the territory.
Cellar approach
In the cellar, the same principles of coherence and authenticity are applied: spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, vinifications that respect the characteristics of each grape variety, and minimal intervention. The goal is to produce wines that are a true expression of the vineyard and terroir, telling the story of Le Marche in all its richness and diversity. Respect for the raw material and the decision to avoid invasive practices give Tomassetti wines personality and natural authenticity.
Territory and identity
The estate’s vineyards extend over 4.5 hectares, located across the municipalities of Senigallia, Trecastelli, Corinaldo, and Terre Roverasche. This area stretches from the Colli di Jesi to Pesaro, also encompassing the production zone of Bianchello del Metauro. The winery thus represents a synthesis of belonging and identity, born from love for the land and transformed into wines that combine tradition, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
