History of the Wine

Bianco Cancelli was created to highlight the most genuine and rustic expression of the region’s viticultural tradition.

Vineyard Philosophy

The grapes come from a 40-year-old Abruzzo pergola vineyard, influenced by the surrounding mountains and the Adriatic breeze. The land is farmed according to biodynamic practices, free from synthetic chemicals, respecting natural cycles and soil fertility. Biodiversity is preserved, creating a thriving ecosystem that ensures healthy and energetic fruit.

Winemaking Approach

In the cellar, the philosophy remains minimal: spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, no fining, no filtration, and no added sulfites beyond what naturally develops. The wine ages for a few months in cement tanks, preserving its freshness and authenticity. This method allows for a straightforward and genuine wine, a true expression of terroir.
