Red wine

  The wine ferments spontaneously with native yeasts and is not filtered or clarified. 50% of the blend is produced in a palmento, the traditional Etna winemaking building, with maceration on the skins for 5 days; 30% is wine produced in a Georgian qvevri, with a month’s maceration on the skins. The remaining 20% ​​of the blend is a wine fermented and aged in a large used oak barrel.

Floral, tastes of Sicily, red fruits, among which cherries and wild strawberries stand out, very mineral, with hints of Mediterranean scrub, species of wild herbs

Fruit juice, fresh and full, with dense and lively tannins, savory.

Serving temperature 16°-20%

Try it with shredded horse meat, rocket and parmesan, with lemon zest

The crazy thing about this wine, which is also the beauty of natural wine, is that it took 12 months to ferment, like VIPs it had to wait, and quite a bit, but the result is fantastic

The Il Vino di Anna company is more of a boutique than a real company, there are some real wonders hidden here, the wines are unique.

It rises at high altitudes, between 760 and 1200 meters above sea level, on the north side of Etna, between Solicchiata, Maletto and Linguaglossa: the soil here is crazy, wonderfully volcanic and rich, the wines are incredibly tasty and elegant

The vineyards vary in age between 60 and 100 years, cultivated using a biodynamic approach

The owners of this small but wonderful company are Eric Narioo and Anna Martens, dedicated to natural viticulture, with great satisfaction, for over 10 years
