Spifferi 2022: the gentle breeze of everyday wine
Mixed vineyards, natural rhythm
Spifferi 2022 is a white wine born from a blend of Trebbiano, Verdello, Malvasia, Grechetto, and a small portion of Moscato. The vineyards are located in Alta Maremma, on sandy-clay soils with mineral traces. Farming is done by hand, with spontaneous grass cover, no synthetic chemicals, and a focus on preserving the natural balance of the plant. Harvesting is done manually at full ripeness.
Separate fermentations, one voice
Each grape variety is fermented separately in fiberglass with indigenous yeasts. After fermentation, the wines are blended to create a white that’s more than the sum of its parts. No fining, no filtration, and minimal sulfites are added. The result is a clean, vibrant expression of place and simplicity.
Light, fragrant, honest
In the glass it shows a hazy straw yellow hue. The nose offers floral notes, herbs, white peach, and a subtle musky undertone. The palate is fresh, saline, delicately textured, and finishes on citrus and herbs. Spifferi is an everyday white with clarity and character.
Serving and pairings
Serve at 10–12°C. Ideal as an aperitif or with light Mediterranean cuisine: savory pies, steamed vegetables, grain salads, fresh cheeses, and delicate fish.

Every cultivated hectare, every carefully selected grape, and every bottle produced tells a story of artisanal care and deep respect for the identity of the land. Winemaking here is not just a craft, but an emotional expression born from a sincere connection with nature and time.
The bond with the land and the identity of the grapes
The strength of Riccardo Danielli’s project lies in the celebration of native grape varieties, enhanced through sustainable vineyard practices and careful vinification techniques that preserve the fruit’s integrity. The aim is to protect and interpret the purest expression of the territory, allowing each variety to reveal its true essence. This authenticity shines through in every glass, offering elegance, aromatic depth, and a genuine sense of place.
A soil that gives character and structure
Beneath this identity lies a key element: the soil. Rich in minerals and well-drained, it combines layers of clay, sand, and subtle calcareous traces, creating optimal conditions for deep root development. This diverse soil composition lends the wines a firm structure and vibrant minerality, shaping a refined and instantly recognizable style.

Though deeply rooted in tradition, Riccardo Danielli’s vision is anything but static. The winery embraces innovation, experimenting with modern technologies and eco-conscious practices across the production process. Sustainability here is not just a value—it’s a strategic choice to ensure lasting quality and a respectful relationship with both land and consumer.
Wines that reflect a personal vision
Each Riccardo Danielli wine is a self-contained universe. Behind every label lies a pursuit of perfect balance between structure, freshness, and personality. The reds reveal intensity and depth without heaviness, the whites shine with aromatic finesse and mineral energy, while the limited selections impress with their complexity and age-worthiness.
