Corvagialla Rosé 2021: brightness and drinkability in pure Sangiovese
Corvagialla Rosé 2021 is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, gently crushed and fermented in stainless steel to preserve their freshness. It then matures for 6 months in fiberglass and another 6 months in bottle. This wine is all about lightness, vibrancy, and joyful drinkability. It expresses the more agile and playful side of Sangiovese, without losing its personality. A wine to be finished quickly, almost without realizing it.
Vineyard philosophy and cellar approach
The vineyards are managed naturally, with no synthetic treatments and a deep focus on soil health and biodiversity. Grapes are picked at optimal ripeness to maintain freshness and acidity. In the cellar, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and minimal intervention allows the true character of the grape and place to emerge. No filtering, no unnecessary handling—just precision and respect for the fruit.
Tasting notes
Color: bright cherry pink with copper reflections.
Nose: expressive and clean, with aromas of marasca cherry, blood orange peel and delicate floral undertones.
Palate: juicy and crisp, with vivid acidity, light body and a pleasantly saline finish that invites another sip.
Food pairings
Ideal as an aperitif or to start a meal, it pairs beautifully with light appetizers, fresh cheeses, seafood crudo and light fried dishes. Perfect for picnics, outdoor dinners or anytime you crave a fresh, honest rosé that disappears from the glass in no time.

Corvagialla: agricultural freedom and living wines from Alta Tuscia
Corvagialla is a small agricultural and wine estate located in Castiglione in Teverina, in the heart of northern Lazio’s Alta Tuscia. Here, not far from the Umbrian border, Tommaso Gallinari has created a rural project that is first and foremost a way of life. Corvagialla is a place to live and farm naturally, without forcing rhythms, in deep connection with landscape and time. Wine here is not a product, but an agricultural act—free, spontaneous, and tied to its soil.
Vineyard philosophy and winemaking approach
The vineyards grow on volcanic, tufaceous soils at around 450 meters above sea level. Farming is manual, with no chemical treatments, herbicides, or irrigation. Local varieties like Procanico, Malvasia, Verdello, and Ciliegiolo are grown alongside vegetables, fruit trees, olive groves, bees, and forest. Biodiversity is part of the project’s core, as is a vision of low-impact, respectful agriculture.
In the cellar, the process remains artisanal: spontaneous fermentation, no clarification or filtration, and zero additives. Wine matures in neutral materials such as concrete or fiberglass, preserving the grape’s integrity. Each wine is unique, shaped by the vintage, the parcel, and the hands behind it.
Style and identity
Corvagialla’s wines are vibrant, pure, and unconstrained. The whites—often with light maceration—are floral, saline, and vertical. The reds are lean, juicy, and bright. Their beauty lies in their sincerity and coherence with place. Corvagialla does not follow external trends, but builds itself slowly and thoughtfully, in rhythm with nature.
