> The grapes are harvested manually and come from a hilly, silty area. Fermentation is spontaneous with maceration on the skins for 8 days with frequent pumping over. Once the racking has been carried out, spontaneous malolactic fermentation is expected and the wine is then refined in stainless steel tanks. Finally it rests in the bottle where it is decanted without adding sulphur

Ripe red fruits such as raspberry and cherry, then floral notes of violet in particular, iodized and mineral, slightly balsamic

Round and balanced between freshness and flavor, the tannin is soft and the finish is substantial

Serving temperature 18°-20°

37 hectares of rows, divided between Alcamo and Salaparuta, small portions of quality, with varied morphology and
particular microclimate These are the lands from which the grapes of the Possente wines are born, an artisanal expression of a
winemaking vocation that has always belonged to these places.
Alcamo rises on the slopes of Mount Bonifato, its history is linked to Ciullo d’Alcamo, the culture and
very long tradition in viticulture. Alcamo DOC is one of the first DOCs to be recognized in Sicily –
1972 – and was born from its Prince Vine “Il Catarratto”. Being born and raised in Alcamo means sharing the
stories of the harvests spent happily in the family together with our grandparents, uncles, cousins. A human heritage of
lives and lived experiences.
