Peace, Love & Garnacha – Winery and Wine Philosophy in Rioja
The Winery
Peace, Love & Garnacha is a project born from the desire to celebrate ancient Garnacha vines in Rioja. Focused on tradition and the expression of terroir, the winery combines careful vineyard management with minimal intervention in the cellar, crafting wines that reflect the authentic character of Rioja’s high valleys.
Vineyards and Viticulture
The grapes come from a single vineyard in Cordovin, in the Alto de Najerilla valley, where centennial bush-trained vines grow on iron-rich clay soils. The average age of the vines is 100 years, and the cultivation is guided by respect for nature and the legacy of the vineyard, ensuring concentrated, expressive grapes.
Harvest and Vinification
The harvest took place by hand on September 22, 2023, with careful selection of each bunch in 18 kg crates. 80% of the grapes were destemmed, and fermentation occurs in open tanks with gentle extraction, allowing the wine to develop subtle complexity and freshness. No temperature control or added sulfites were used during fermentation.
Aging
After fermentation, the wine matures for 12 months in French oak barrels, giving structure, aromatic depth, and harmony. No fining or filtration is performed, preserving the wine’s purity and character.
Production and Characteristics
Production is limited to approximately 1,200 numbered bottles, ensuring the highest quality. Peace, Love & Garnacha 2023 is an elegant, expressive Garnacha that tells the story of ancient vines and the dedication of its makers.

Jade Gross – Winery and Wine Philosophy in Rioja
History of Jade Gross
Jade Gross was born in 1987 in Hong Kong and showed a strong passion for food from an early age. After studying political science in New York, she decided to follow her true vocation and enrolled at the prestigious ESCF in Paris for culinary training. Her experience in top restaurants worldwide, including the renowned Mugaritz in Spain, allowed her to acquire unique skills and a rigorous approach to work. During her time in Rioja, thanks to meeting Abel Mendoza and Maite Fernandez, Jade discovered the world of wine and decided to fully dedicate herself to winemaking.
Vineyard Philosophy
The Jade Gross winery stands out for a natural and sustainable approach. Grapes, mainly Tempranillo, come from carefully selected local vineyards. No pesticides or herbicides are used, and mechanical intervention is minimal, respecting biodiversity and the natural balance of the soil. Low yields and manual vineyard management ensure high-quality grapes that are concentrated and representative of the Rioja territory.
Winemaking Approach
In the cellar, Jade uses delicate and respectful winemaking techniques. Fermentations often occur spontaneously, without temperature control, and sulfur dioxide is added only if necessary in minimal amounts. Wines are allowed to mature naturally, using neutral oak barrels and small artisanal containers to preserve authenticity and aromatic structure. The first wine, “Piano, Piano,” perfectly embodies this approach: combining a passion for music with meticulous winemaking care.
Distinctive Features
Today, the Jade Gross winery represents an example of innovation while respecting tradition. Wines are elegant, authentic, and deeply connected to the Rioja territory. The winery continues to grow slowly, prioritizing quality over quantity, with a clear vision: to produce wines that tell stories and evoke emotions, maintaining a balance between tradition and modernity.
