Prepotto, Friuli Venezia Giulia
Le Due Terre was founded in 1984 in Prepotto, in the province of Udine, by Silvana Forte and Flavio Basilicata.
The winery is one of the smallest in Friuli, being able to count on only 4 hectares of vineyards and has always stood out for the search for artisanal quality in its wines, becoming over the years a cult winery for enthusiasts of Friulian wines scattered around the world. They are, among other things, redists convinced of a land with a white vocation.
They produce around 17,000 bottles per year, spread across four wines: Sacrisassi white, Sacrisassi red (blend of Schioppettino and Refosco), Merlot and Pinot Noir.
