Côtes du Rhône Les Romanins is a red wine obtained from Grenache Noir, Syrah, Cinsault from Domaine de La Ferme Saint Martin in Beaumes de Venise, in the Southern Rhône. Spontaneous fermentation in steel with indigenous yeasts and maceration for about a week. It soon ends up in the bottle where it rests for a year. Balanced and savory tannic in the mouth, the nose is floral and fruity. The quality/price ratio is very high and braised meat is the recommended combination

The history of the Domaine de la Ferme Saint Martin begins in the 1950s when Aimè and Yvonne Julienne purchased land in this very cold area south of the Rhône, facing frosts of -20°; in 1956 they were forced to replant the vines, finally reaping the fruits only in the early 1960s

Today the company is led by Guy and Thomas Julienne (Aimè’s son and grandson) and has practiced organic-natural agriculture since 1998. The harvest is always strictly manual, with a very strict selection of the bunches which will then be vinified separately depending on the cru of origin, with native yeasts.

Sulfur dioxide is added, if necessary, in minimal quantities.
