J.M. Berrux Le Petit Tetu 2020

Le Petit Tetu is a white wine produced from Chardonnay grapes by Jean Marie Berrux in Meursault, Burgundy. The grapes macerate some and are then gently pressed, ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and are refined in wood of various sizes and passages. The nose is floral and buttery, with hints of lime and sweet spices while on the palate it is delicate and vibrant. An excellent white Burgundy to pair with seafood first courses

  The grapes come from a small vineyard in Meursault on clayey soil, they are softly pressed then in barriques and tonneaux of at least second passage for alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Matures for a year in the same containers.

Floral and buttery with white fruit tending towards ripeness and exotic scents such as lime, sweet spices, iodine and mineral notes

The taste is delicate and soft on the finish, fresh and vibrant

MEURSAULT (France)

The strong passion for wine pushed Jean Marie to leave his job as an advertiser in Paris to become a wine producer.

He did this by purchasing 1.5 hectares in Meursault in 1999 and starting in 2004 to produce wines with great character, of which Petit Tetù (The little stubborn one), is the emblem.
