The grapes come from approximately 30 year old vines, they macerate for a few days and then refine for 18 months in Burgundy wooden barrels

Tree fruit such as apple and pear and dried fruit such as hazelnut and almond, sweet spices and herbaceous hints, mineral with notes of blond tobacco

Fresh and generous, tense and savoury, elegant and persistent

Serving temperature 10°-12°

The company is the result of the meeting of two families: Jules and Suzanne Grivot, winemakers for 5 generations in Gatherer
and the Tardy family, winemakers of the Morin house in Nuits-Saint-Georges. René Tardy has led the company since 1978
together with his 2 sons, Jacques and Jöel and from that moment the Domaine took the name of René Tardy and Fils. The age
average of the vines is 30 years, but some of them such as those of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Gevrey Chambertin and
Pommard are over 50 years old. After fermentation, the wines are aged in Burgundy wooden barrels (228 litres).
at least 18 months.
