Sancerre is an iconic white wine based on Sauvignon Blanc produced by Domaine Gerard Fiou in Saint Satur, in the Loire Valley. It comes from soils strongly characterized by silex, vinification and aging take place for a few months in steel. Elderberry and gooseberry are identifying features on the nose, like flint, while on the palate it is fresh, savory and crunchy. Sancerre is synonymous with great white, try it with mussels

Very pleasant nose of elderflower then pear and gooseberry. Great flint minerality with hints of aromatic herbs

Historic family-run business located in Sancerre, in the center of the Loire Valley.
It was recently acquired by the Bourgeois family who carry on its tradition and philosophy.
The Domaine today has 34 hectares, after starting from an initial property of 5 hectares, and can count on vines that are over 60 years old.
Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir are produced, bred organically.
