Mutènice, South Moravia
Jaroslav Tesarìk and his wife Pavlína are two garage owners who cultivate one and a half hectares of vineyard in Mutènice, in South Moravia.
In these scarce 15 thousand square meters and 6,500 plants, however, we find various native varieties such as Neuburger, Sankt Laurent and Blauer Portuguiser and the inevitable Müller Thurgau, which feels right at home in these lands.
In the vineyard the treatments are minimal, with sulfur, copper and vegetable preparations, while in the cellar natural vinification is preferred with aging in oak barrels and without the addition of sulphites.
