100-day maceration on the skins in an amphora and spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, refinement takes place in large barrels and in bottles for 12 months in both cases. No filtration or clarification
Capers and ginger immediately catch the attention, then nuances of chestnut honey and wild herbs, resin and walnut husk, dates and tea flowers
Warm and full-bodied, very fresh and with a salty sip, the tannin stands out within an important structure, the finish is long and soft
Serving temperature 12°-14°
Cured ham
It’s a great orange from Timorasso

We are located south of Tortona, in a land of white marl and clay, today considered the best possible terroir for Timorasso, the grape rediscovered by the great Walter Massa.
It all began for Daniele when his grandfather, in 1929, purchased Cascina San Cleto and its 6 hectares. Half of these will be planted in Barbera, Croatina and Timorasso, leaving their farm animals free to roam around the other half.
Subsequently, the company passed into the hands of Daniele Ricci’s father and finally, in the 2000s, into his. In the meantime, the hectares had become 8 and the company decided to bet heavily on Timorasso.
The approach in the vineyard is virtuous and in the name of tradition, therefore natural and with the minimum possible human intervention. The company’s objective is to produce territorial and unique wines.
In the cellar there is plenty of space for long macerations and the use of large Acacia barrels, less to say nothing about additions of sulfur dioxide.
Timorasso is an aging wine, intimate and slow to indulge, but when it does it is able to give great emotions, just as happens with those of Daniele
