Origin & Vineyard
From the Eisner cru, a single vineyard with old Syrah vines rooted in porous limestone and quartz, delivering a vibrant, crystalline expression of the terroir.
Winemaking
Only free-run juice, no maceration: colour and texture come solely from the grape’s natural concentration. Fermented and matured in a single barrique, unfined, unfiltered, and with no added sulphites.
Aromatic Profile
Elegant yet intense: wild strawberries, pomegranate, blood orange, subtle spice, and a deep mineral core.
Tasting & Pairings
A unique, quietly powerful rosé with precise structure and deep minerality. Perfect with seafood tartare, fresh cheeses, fish carpaccio, or enjoyed on its own for pure pleasure.

Christian Tschida: Natural Wines from Burgenland
Winery History
Christian Tschida represents the fourth generation of winemakers in Illmitz, on the Austrian shores of Lake Neusiedlersee in the heart of Burgenland. The family’s winemaking tradition has been passed down for decades, and today Christian, young and talented, manages a 10-hectare estate with a modern vision that respects the territory’s heritage. His passion for natural wines and respect for the terroir have made Tschida wines internationally acclaimed among lovers of authentic, characterful wines.
Vineyard Philosophy
Tschida’s philosophy is based on natural winemaking and minimal human intervention. Vineyards are cultivated without systemic chemicals, respecting the natural cycle of the plants and soil. Christian prefers manual harvesting and rigorous grape selection, ensuring healthy, ripe fruit. The goal is to produce wines with personality that express the unique Neusiedlersee terroir and offer longevity without compromising quality.
Winemaking Approach
In the cellar, Christian Tschida follows a clear principle: spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, no fining or filtration, and zero chemical additions, with sulphur used only in minimal, homeopathic amounts before bottling. This method enhances freshness, minerality, and aromatic complexity, making every bottle a unique and authentic experience.
Style and Recognition
Christian Tschida’s wines are immediately recognizable for personality, finesse, and depth. Each label tells the story of the territory, the family, and the producer’s philosophy. Loved by natural wine enthusiasts worldwide, Tschida wines are considered exemplary in respectful and creative winemaking. Attention to detail and the ability to surprise make this winery a benchmark of Burgenland.
